Default She plays the staring game.

I'm interested in this girl at my college but I have a hard time gauging this ones interest. One this that happens quite a bit is if our gazes meet from across the room she'll play the staring game with me to see who breaks contact first. She'll block out everyone around her and if people get in her way will move to meet my gaze etc. Is this just a game or a legitimate sign of interest. She's the quite type and i don't have much experience here.

If she's really not wanting to break eye contract with you, and seems interested, just go for it. Not much else to do but try, at least then you'll know for sure. And the best that can come out of it is you'll pick her up and the worst is that you get rejected but get experience in gauging women's interests. Next time its appropriate (at the end of class, walking to class, whatever) say hey and smile. Or "excuse me, I don't mean to bother you..." just go with what comes natural. Hope this helped, I'm sure others will be able to help more, but this is the extent of my knowledge.

We have talked and hung out before, but she's just harder to read than most girls. I can usually tell pretty easily if they're interested or not. I did know if this shows true interest r its just a game.
