Default Need help with talking to a girl the second time

This is my first post so sorry if I do something wrong.

My question is about a situation that happened to me the other night. I am in college so most of my interactions with girls is at friends house parties. I started talking with this one girl and it was going pretty well. However the conversation got thin and I made and excuse to walk away. Later I tried to talk to her but she just kind of brushed me off.

What are good ways to approach a girl that you have already approached once?

    Hi,

In my books, preparation is everything, and when that doesn't work.. lie.

In other words, when conversation run dry I throw in funny childhood stories or just invent a great story that keeps her interested. She might be inclined to share hew own and maybe find common interest. Since it ran dry once you already got shot out kinda..

To recover from such a situation I suggest you neg her and tease her as soon as you see her, mention something regarding the last encounter but be full of energy and different so she doesn't think of the time before. Do not take an hour to approach her, see her and go say HI immediately otherwise its like your scared. Act as if you know her, and your in no way shy.
