    1) Go somewhere dark and quiet, like I'm Gollum from Lord of The Rings, or
    2) Screaming questions over booming house music

I don't want to straight-up dismiss these places, because I find the girls are typically way more...informal. I just know there's got to be a better system to deal with the noise.

Umm you don't. You don't open man, you rock that freaking opener into next week. Yeah seems that way talking on here or comparing it to the Coffee shop. But you probably think it's awkward right? Well it's awkward too when you are the only one talking in the Coffee Shop as you approach a girl and everyone is just sitting around listening. You are going to find awkward elements no matter the situation. But the answer is easy. You will ask "What?" a lot and she will ask "What did you say?" a lot but this allows for intentional misinterpretation and even gives you freebie second chances when you screw up something you said. So it works both ways. You talk a little bit louder but they can still hear you when you are right next to them. Especially when you open them while talking in their ear. They'll hear that. And love u afterwards. Nothing wrong with loud Clubs had much fun and success there. Noise never been too much of a factor. Competition is a far more posing problem mate.

They're all over the place. Obviously not as many as 21-and-up, but they're there. They'll just make you wear a special wristband or mark up your hand somehow so the bartenders know not to serve alcohol to you.

Google and Yelp are your friends, man.

If she's not crazy and dancing all around:
Go there and get very close to her. This way you can talk to her year.

If she's crazy and dancing all around:
Go there. Dance with her. Be crazier. And HAVE MORE FUN THAN HER.
