I generally find that whenever I meet someone knew I try to speak to them as if I am talking with one of my buddies from home. Just talk about anything like you would with your friends. Make them feel comfortable and act as if it's no big deal.

Being able to talk is a good skill. But this can be fixed with a change of Mindset. You label yourself as someone who doesn't talk. Try changing your mindset into something that says you actually do talk alot. Almost too much. Then your behavior will start to reflect it. Sometimes even saying random things will make you seem talkative. Some times I will interject a convo with "Wait, who has crabs?" It usually gets a laugh and now I can change the conversation to fit me.

I go in my local bookstore, and ask a girl about what she's reading.

Why would you want to be more talkative? It's much better to make an impact with less words than to gab for hours.

I agree with RedZone - it sounds like your an introvert by nature, you might be better off following Gamblers style and playing it cool - YouTube 'Gambler Formula For Night Game' the theory applies to all types of game.

I fit this mould and have styled my game accordingly, if you play it cool and very confident you shouldn't have to talk much, ask one or two questions to get things going then make statements based on those questions to provide an insight into the girl you're talking to.

The best way to gain confidence talking to women and improve your conversation is, of course, to throw caution to the wind and open as many girls as possible in as many scenarios as possible - make sure you read a ton of theory then get out in the field and learn it first hand!

I've just recently started out and my reading list includes:

    1. The Game by Neil Strauss - quite outdated in my opinion, but great motivation and an intro that covers most elements of Game
    2. Gamblers stealth seduction stuff and his Formula For Night Game
    3. Kezia on bitch shields
    4. Adam Lyons stuff on frame control, logistics
    5. ALL the stuff on the PUATrainingMedia Youtube channel apart from the few in-field videos from no names which are terrible.
    6. dlee's facebook game/Poke thread
    7. Whoopies Facebook Method Field Tested Approved

Hopefully some of this stuff helps

    Good luck man!

    Lead,

I would guess you're just naturally introverted. I'm the same way. You can learn to turn to it on though. You may never be a full blown 'talker' though.

I like Redzones point. Less can be more if you demonstrate alpha tendencies.

Sometimes i will read alpha material and it's puts me in the right Mindset. Here's an example from Virgil here. After skimming this it just gets easier for me.
