Default Is race ever a factor to consider?

As someone who's beginning his quest for becoming better with women, and as an african american man myself, I must wonder if it's ever necessary to calculate race into the equasion? Will the target be more receptive to my advances if we are of the same race? Will I have to compensate for it (in her mind) if I'm not? I've considered that interacial dating is fairly common these days and that there always stands the possibility of good ol' fashioned racism. None the less, further input on this matter would be very valuable to me. Thanks in advance, Swerv.

P.S. I myself have absolutely NO racial preference.

This is my opinion from my experience so take with a grain of salt. I do believe that race definitely can play a role. BUT it's not as gleem as it sounds. Everyone has a preference. Some women like black/spanish/white/asian/indian etc. And some are very adamant about it. Few are though. It's just a preference, not a standard. If she does prefer a race that you are not then it's not necessarily you don't have a shot, you just may have to work alittle harder to develop that attraction. Since attraction is not a choice. Just try not to take it too personally if you have trouble changing her preference. But still I wouldn't worry about it too much. There are plenty of women who ONLY date, lets say black guys, and they are all kinds of races themselves.

I've met some women who only date black guys, another who only dated white guys. It's all preference.

Don't overthink it, just do your thang !

It depends where you're at (city) and how multi-cultural it is. Usually if I'm in a conv with a girl and I sense some kind of race preference with her that doesn't work to my favour, do your best to pull out smoothly, or snipe her friend. Throw some backhand complients her way, and try to win (the racey one) as a support for your new target.

I usually let the racey one talk for a bit, and then offer her some gum, and insist she take it, she could use it. Don't let the 'racey' ones fault your game

Wow. You guys are great. Thank you all. I'm so new to this, I have to get used to these new ways of thinking; "attraction is not a choice", "don't overthink it or take it personal" I'm on my last few pages of "THE GAME" and it has brought me to this forum. After onlly my first post, I'm already feeling like I've made a good choice. For anyone else who cares to comment, I'm listening . . .

    Swerv,

TSM wrote a guide to interracial dating in the Members Lounge a while back. I recommend checking that out.

Remember, from a sociological point of view, race is socially constructed.

One of my best friends (girl) is in school for music performance. She's an opera singer with porcelain skin. If she were any more white she'd be transparent. She prefers black guys over most white.

Don't let preconceived notions faze you. Chicks dig all kinds :P

Oh, and welcome. Glad you're here
Wondering where I am now? Check out my latest project:

As you may have noticed I'm black and I never factor race into the equation.
Either a woman will give you ioi's or she won't, the truth is you will never no why.

heres my 411 on asian women..

    mostly superficial and brandnames
    mostly into status and looks

ur good to go if u got 3/4 of the above qualities, if not... your gonna have to GAME FRAME her and socially reverse prize her to think you are the prize, not her... they typicall arent too deep (under 25s) so something in the ballpark of

"So why do u wanna know how much i make (or what i do for a living)? U wanna be my sugarmama? tempting... hmm.. take a number and ill get back to ya cutie.."

"Sorry, i dont drive a benz or m3, but its all good... i dont have to compensate.. by the way, nice LV purse"

yea, im asian too... so im used to gaming asian chicks, boring now.. elevating to mix chicks is more fun at this stage...

Honestly if you are worried that when you sarge it is going to be a problem then play to the stereotypes opposite. Be the opposite of what you think they are expecting that identifies you quickly as not most guys. It works to your advantage.

On top of that if you don't have a problem with stereotypes exploit them and poke fun at them. A good friend of mine suffers from spinal bifida and screws with people all the time. He'll go up to a girl fall over and say that they ruined his legs for life and then gets up says he's fine and was born like that. He makes it something uncomfortable at first but then uses the hell out of it. Let me tell you he opens better than anyone I've ever seen and I mean ever!

Very nice Fat Kyle. There is something about poking at one of your own insecurities that convey that you are comfortable with yourself and people are more likely to be comfortable with you since you pointed out the "elephant in the room." Wouldn't overdo though
