Default What do you do/say after the opener?

    Hey

Scenario: Nightclub, set of 2-4 women 7-10's

What do you usually say or do after the opener/opening phase is succeeded? Im struggling with this, so some examples besides using stories would help a lot! I know its a bad question because it depends on the girls and the situation. But tell me what you usually do most of the times to succeed.

    Hi Hansen,

You're referring to the "transition" in pua parlance and it is much more important than the opener. You can have a weak open but if the transition is strong, the seduction will still proceed.

IMO a cold read is a very good transtion when you are 1 on 1 with a girl and a palm read when you have a 2 set or more (usually because they all want their plams read after you do it to the first girl)

I have heard arguments that this is getting cliched etc, but bottom line it works.

The trick with cold reading is that it really is general but it sounds like it applies to the target, forming a mini bond. This will allow you to move on.

If you google palm reading and just get a few techniques down, you'll be fine. when I palm read I say, "I've just started learning to palm read. Can I take a look at your hands?" I also Kino when I look at the various lines on the hands and it is amazing how different the readings will be for each girl.

    Hope this helps

Bahaha ok with palm reading which I agree it gives you a lot of room to play with and yes, women eat it up. Its like crack or something. An easy one which I read a long time ago is ask them to think of a number between 1-4. Then 1-10. Thr answers are 3 and 7. Now you can run that one with whatever shit you can think of. I have used it as a transition and in comfort. So its how you play it.

In transition you can follow up with (if you get them right):

Thats crazy. Lets try something else!
    Whats 5+1
    Whats 4+2
    3+3
    2+4
    1+5
Say the number 6 outloud till i tell you to stop!
    Think of a vegetable!
    She or they say ok
    Say CARROTS!

If you get it right then move on. Dont sit on the result. If you get it wrong laugh and tease then move on. Dont sit on it. I use that one as compliance/cold read. If im having women do the shit im telling them to do it lets me know im game plus its original/dofferent and high energy if you get them laughing. Plus, if you run them consitently next thing you know you are 20mins or so in a convo and they are investing without knowing it.

Also and I forgot to mention this.

With palm reading i use it for compliance. When you ask for the hand do it with your palm up(body language for trust). When you take it as you are running you line give a little squeeze. She squeezes back thats body language for compliance. Also! This begins Kino interaction so dont let it go. If you do palm reading during comfort and say you are sitting down facing each other. Once you are done place her hand on your leg in a natural matter and let it go. If she leaves it there then gauge how good you are doig by the length of time she leaves it there but dont make it obvious.

I'm beginning to see why the more senior posters on PUA Forums recommend moving away from the material covered in The Game. Palm reading is something that Style definitely talks about, and mentalism in general is something that's been well covered by Mystery. I think that it's fine to fall back on the tried and true to get started, but after you have some experience work to develop your own.

There are countless other mentalist routines that you could run. Type into Google: wikihow mentalism There are plenty of riddles that you can play with them. Type into Google: PUA transitions

I want to find common interests with my targets before I decide to spend much time with them. I was working our local film festival, so I would ask if they'd heard about. Generally they hadn't, so they'd ask me questions that let me tell dhv stories. Now it's summer time and we have a number of summer festivals in my city. I could easily ask about that and move into stories about my volunteer work.

There is a PUA term "Chick crack." After your initial open, you can move into what would normally be an "opinion opener." If you are up on celebrity gossip, you could move into a conversation about that. Definitely having a couple of fall back topics will make you feel more comfortable. I've seen my own conversations stall, and without preparing I'm grasping at straws to find a good thread.

Multi-thread weaving is the next step after transitioning.

i ussually comment situation that we're in... comment the club, ask if they ussually come there or is it a first time, talk about music (i love music so...), talk about people around, drinks or something that is happening in the moment...i do not start with seducing in that moment, i just try to be friendly. then, if i feel one of the girls or specific girl reacts well on this casual, nonseductive chat, then i start to focus on her. it acctually works best for me.

Transitions / Comfort are probably my best. (I paid a good four years in several freindzones for it)

Another area to explore for transitions is simply to study conversation. I watched a lot of talk shows for months just to get the hang of segues and carrying/cross-referencing multiple threads (which makes it seem like you have more rapport)

For example I like to ask if she's local, then wherever she's from I say I have family there but we're not close (now I can talk for 5 - 20 secs about how people fall out of touch, also I reveal a little about my family) then she asks a follow-up and I can move the conversation towards a family story (nurturing) or a people-falling out of touch story (social proof), then Neg her about where she's from... but this is all just to show how you can use little inserted details and follow-up questions to milk a whole 10 minutes of conversation out of just "where are you from?"

Not gonna lie though, some nights I'm just not in state, I like to keep cold reading and dhv stories as my fall-back (that's just me tho) because the conversational threads thing can get pretty straw-grabby if I'm not focused and in the zone. It has banking on canned material has its' risks though.
Too much DHV stories = Try-hard
Too much cold read / comfort = friendzone
Balance rapport/value through good connection-making conversation = closes
