    Default Banter and social Anxiety

Okay, so alot of people these days seem to be getting worse when it comes to banter. It's a form of playful teasing which isn't neccasarily a bad thing, but to someone who is not very confident or self assured it can really crush you when someone pokes fun at you to get a response. And if you can master the art of banter and enjoy yourself using it then you an really turn the tables around in terms of persuading and disarming AMOGs.

I'm in no way the banter king but I do realise that to enjoy a conversation when someone is throwing gags your way is to take them with a bit of humour and allow your defences to relax. Have a little fun with it and if they really do catch a nerve then calmly tell them "That's not cool dude. That's a line you've crossed" or something similar.

What's everyone elses view on how to strike of banter and enjoy using it in conversations?

    Cheers, Finchy x

i'm with it if it's that's where The Vibe of the interaction goes. certainly don't want to come off as trying too hard to appear witty. but sometimes you have to go too far to know where the line is.
