Default Need help with (possible) non-cold opener

Ok so there's this girl in two of my university classes and when I was helping a friend with directions I asked her how far it was to where I was going (we'd been walking for 20 minutes already). I would've mentioned I saw her in class but thought that might be A) a bit weird and B) I shouldn't go for it because her friend was with her. (I've never opened a set before, btw) I noticed that she had a second class with me and during the middle of class I noticed her looking over at me: a looked back over and she looked away, I looked back 5 seconds later to see if she was looking at me and she still was, I did this twice more and she was looking at me each time. I first thought she must've been just spacing out but it appears she was staring at me for some reason. Anyways I have a few questions: a) is this a "warm" approach because I know that I will get at least a decent reaction if I trade and I talk with her? b) How does a warm approach differ from a cold approach? and c) I'm confined to a classroom where I can't talk too much or too loud, any tips for how to game a girl in this situation? Btw should I go for the number the first time I talk with her if it goes well or knowing that I'll likely see her again should I wait? Thanks.

first of all, you opened a set when you asked her for directions, the correct way to put it is that you haven't knowingly opened a set, this will be a warm aproach and it isn't much different from a cold aproach. the only real difference between warm and cold aproaches is that warm aproaches are easier for you to open, because she's not a complete stranger to you.you still have to aproach, open, transit ion, flirt, and close out. go as far as you can as far as the n-close is concerned. just keep the convo short and flirty also i don't recomend opening in class, unless its before or after the class is over. the easiest opener would be something about your commonality (the class itself). just remember that no matter how it goes you will learn something, even if you don't get the results you want. good luck!

I meant how are they different in the way I approach it, should I take a few more risks given that it's not a cold approach, can you move quicker if it's not a cold approach?

like i said they are both still approaches, you can't move any more quickly with a warm aproach, unless you built comfort and attraction the last time you approached her, you shouldn't take any more risks than you would the first time you met her, because you didn't realy build any attraction in her the first time you met her. the only thing that realy sets a warm aproach apart from a cold one is that it will be easier for you to open
