Default Mall Openers, Here Are Ours, You Got Any Good Ones?

So every Saturday, I go to a mall with a friend called Century City (we wing eachother), and we play around. I'm 18, hes 17 (Senior and Junior in highschool, respectively). There is plentiful variety of HB around our age. Usually, they are with one or two friends, and sometimes there is even a group of 4 or 5.

There is a movie theater, lots of expensive clothing stores, a food court, and coffee shop like locations such as coffee bean. There is an apple store and a Microsoft store. Its a pretty versatile outdoor mall.

Anyways, sometimes we stumble upon openers to use. He has really big aa, so I have to open up every time (I tried to convince him to open to get rid of his AA, but he refuses). Anyways, openers I've used before include:
"Hey, do you know anything fun to do around here?"
"Is [insert restaurant name here]'s food any good?"
"Do you guys know what the best movie to watch here is?"
"Do you think I should shave my beard after Movember or keep it?"

Of course, these are not word for word, and I make them up on the spot. As you see, I lean towards more Opinion openers. There are more that we use, but I try to think of them on the spot that relate to what they are doing.

Do you guys know any good openers?

Also, we mainly "attack" groups or HBs that are sitting down or standing still. However, there are many missed opportunities due to groups walking. I know we CAN approach walking groups (ive done it a few times), but I'm usually unsuccessful due to my lack of a set opener i can use at any time.

Anyways, any advice on game in an open mall like that could be very valuable. Thanks.

yea go to the food court and ask people if you can have a bite of their fries. Iv done this starting out with girls and guys and its good to train plus you get FOOD!

What I do sometimes at school is I just take their hands and walk with them then start there. It works and their actually not freaked out by it they actually LIKE IT

Make your friend do at least 5 high 5 from strangers, thats step 1 to have social freedom then move upwards there.

just go direct too, dont be indirect, its a waste of time and harder cuz you have to talk and think more.

    Hey Big Shawn,

Sounds like you got some good stuff, I learnt some things about moving targets and it's all about reading the situation. If someone is rushing and you want their attention then you have to make eye contact from at least 10 feet away, plant yourself and sometimes even put up your hand to let them know you have something to say.

But most groups I see in malls they are just happy to wander the shops, its brilliant to approach. Try opening with a bit more enthusiasm, don't forget time-constraints and use the opportunity to dhv

"Hey guys I got a CRAZY fancy dress party to go to tonight and wanted your opinion...Tarzan or Police Officer?"

Both answers give a way to open the routine, Police Officer = Authority figure, Man in uniform

Tarzan = Animalistic attraction, Man from the jungle
Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars
