These text openers are pretty dumb and generic, but they get responses. Try them out on girls you don't plan on gaming first to get familiar with the type of responses you can expect:
"I hope your pet rock runs away =]"
"Isn't it past your bed time? =p"
"Hey there, stranger =]" (or dorkface; any light neg gets them to respond)
"I just sneezed...figured you'd want to bless me."
"Burn a _____ with me?" (School, tree, book, shoe, etc)
Some number closes that always worked for me (most were in a university setting and all were done in person):
"Why is it that I still don't have your number?" (use judgment here; you obviously need to have had some type of interaction with her prior)
"You should text me the next time you're here!" (Used in a lounge around campus a few times and I used it in class a few years back - got her laughing)
"Fill in the blanks! ( ) - _ _ _ - _ _ _ _" (passing notes in class; works like a charm)
I'm usually very direct with number closing because it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, so it's very situational. That's a basic framework, though.
To get a girl to meet up, I'm also pretty direct. I've sent texts like this:
"Dear ____, you are cordially invited to (movies/bar/etc) at (time). (Dinner/Lunch) will be served. Sincerely, (name)." (girls found this one funny and I'm considering use this one on the girl that I might have oneitis with (fark))
"Tell, you what...how about we get some food? My treat! I don't promise a 5 star meal or anything, but I promise lots of laughs!" (perfect if she's having a crappy day and you don't have to drop more than $20 if you're worried about that).
That's about all I can remember in terms of creativity for now, but, again, I'm pretty direct. Just be direct! It works best from my experience.
That's about all I have at this hour. Hit me with all kinds of feedback!
