Incoming wall of text, because I figured the more specific, the easier it is to help
There's a cute girl in my stats class whom I met a couple of weeks ago, she's a part of an organization I joined. After that, we started talking before and after stats class. She showed interest in the conversations, so I asked if she wanted to grab lunch after class. She said she had to drop a class and study for another class so she couldn't. Okay, that was just one little strike, still up to bat.
We had an exam next week on Friday(which was actually last week) and so I asked if she wanted to study buddy for it, she said yes please.
We ended up studying after class on Wednesday, I used it as an opportunity to get to know her better and vice-versa, cracked up made dumb nicknames and gave her my number in case she had questions for the test. We started getting hungry, asked her if she wanted to grab lunch, she said she better eat at home because she had so much food there, that he parents would be pissed if she didn't finish that food before going out.
Next day, there was a bowling night with the organization and I used it as an opportunity to gain some social proof with her friends, since she had alot of friends in the organization that were there. It went great, all of her friends loved having me there, made them all laugh etc.
Next day, we have our exam, and swap some words about how we feel we did on the test, and as we part ways, I tell her to text me sometime.
My question is what now? She has my number, I don't have hers. Already turned down my lunch request twice. Do I just lay low for now, so I don't seem over-bearing, or be more direct? Not really sure.
