ok that sounds great... but like most people who havent heard of it i dont know what it is. so i will ask you a question girls will be asking
    "what's that?"
now please put down a description of what you do.

for example, i am a mechatronics engineer working as a head maintenance for a paper reforming company. sounds complicated and most girls wont ask for a clarification becoz they dont wanna sound stupid.
so i basically say with some paraphrasing "i basically make your life a hell lot easier by keeping your paper needs alive. <insert laugh and big smile, u dont wanna come out as as a jerk just a person messing about> i fix the machines that produce photocopying papers, copybooks, and what not"

Erect your posture, look her in the eye, and say: "I am a bonafide businessman. Let's go on a venture!"

I hate this question, it's one of those which kills me at the moment. My biggest weaknesses are how I feel about my job and my income. I won't even say that the weakness is the job and income, why? Because I have a job, can afford dates, even if they have to be managed well and I need to be financially savy the rest of the time.

I hate answering the question as it makes me feel worthless. Likewise, I clam up when asked how my day was and come up with some boring answer as my job is routine, no real excitement.

I'm working on my inner game now, applying for better jobs as I have the qualifications, I'm just stuck in a rut. I would like to see the advice here so as to know how to move forward.

I proudly say, "I'm a full-time artist." I pause and whisper to her, "Um, that's code for unemployed."

You can say, "I'm the business agent of LOVE!" Continue, "Yup, first I take care of business, then I TAKE CARE of business." Then give her a big coy smile.

No job is boring! Talk about the fun you have w/co-workers. You guys must goof off once in a while. Make something mundane sound like it's funny, exciting, make it sound like the world would end if you didn't do your job.

I worked at McDonald's when I was 27. Talk about a loser gig! But, I scored all kinds of PT in those days than any other time in my life! When babes asked me what I did, I'd answer, "I'm in the cattle business. I'm a seller of the end products. I'm sure you've had some of the stuff I sell. My company boast: Over A Million Served!"

After that gig I scored a better one (yeah, right) at Sears in a mall. My dept co-workers and I would goof off so much that the other depts were always complaining about us. I would tell babes stories of our antics and have them laughing so hard they could have pi$$ed!

There is always something good in every job that you can focus on. Find it, script it, rehearse it, then tell it.
    Carpe diem!

David D. had a good one too when he was doing his dating guru interviews. It was more along the lines of using a metaphor to describe your true purpose, not actually your job, however your true purpose is your job..... Coincidentally I was actually looking for this interview on my iPod today. Will try to dig it up.
