Default Response to "i dont give out my number"

I've been trying to close more and more lately, and thus I get this response sometimes. I found some ways around it:
    "Were trading numbers, dork!"
"If you don't give anyone your number, what do you use your phone for?"
"Oh, I was just trying to give you a hand so you'll have an easier time stalking me."

What are some of your replies?

I like the last one. The others seem a little agressive or show that you're acting defensively.

I've got on my mind 2 responses, nice to know your feedback folks.
"I was expecting you'd give me your number, so I could exchange you for some camels with some arab."

Or "Well now I have to employ my considerable powers of seduction in order to get your number, which is kinda sucks, since every single girl around us will become attracted to me and you'll get jealous"

After these, be sure to give a big, cheeky smile & a wink. (A friendly poke, nudge, smack on the arm etc.. are also good to include.)

"You don't gave to 'give' it to me... just let me borrow it. I promise I'll give it back."

"Good, neither do I. So how much ya gonna pay me for mine?"

"That's cool.. you can just gimme Twenty dollars & I'll be OK with that for now."

"Good, because I probably wouldn't want to call you anyway..."

Yes you CAN be that bold & get away with it. Just be confident & express HUMOR!

However; If you look unsure about it, or fail to smile/ wink / nudge etc, it's NOT gonna work & you'll look like a tool.

I would focus more on reading the situations that lead to the failure, instead of focusing on what to do when you do fail.

T-Mal is giving you some great options, but you really should never even have to use them if you assess things correctly.

I could not disagree with you more. This line is not a failure, as it can be recovered from. I feel like this is a maybe. Also, i ts best to stay in set and keep on going until you blow.out. that's the only way you learn. There are too many situations that could lead to this one, its impossible to address them all.

@tmal, thanks for replying to my post. I've been reading a bunch of your stuff lately and I'm always surprised how clever and intelligent you are. I am currently improving my cunning, but do you have any specific tips on how to be more creative?

Just take ideas from everyone & adjust them here & there to create "new ones".

Or on other words, "steal from everybody & then take parts & make it your own".

    It really just takes practice.
I'm fortunate in the fact that I grew up around people who were quick-witted & always making snarky, sarcastic jokes... so I picked it up at a young age & it became part of my personality.

The best way to train your brain is to get in the habit of thinking to yourself, "What would be a funny, smarty-pants sort of thing to say?"

Sometimes you might go a little too far; especially when you're first starting out.
BUT... you can always say, "Oooops... my bad. sorry about that, I went a little over-board there."

A girl will forgive you for being a man & occasionally going too far, but she won't forgive you for being a complete wuss.
