I know there really is no such thing(technically speaking) but I'm just wondering what opener and or follow up statement do you use that has the greatest success rate? I'm talking about one that you have personally field tested and it has at least a 90 percent success rate(if possible). Thanks in advance.

In daygame, it's asking for the time. Never gets shot down.

When I was younger I went roller skating with a friend(yes I'm that old)and I asked some girl who I thought was cute what time it was. Her response was "the clock is on the wall." I think she realized how mean that sounded(even though in retrospect it really wasn't)and tried to follow up with something like "well I think it's 9:00" or whatever.

Today at the gym some cute girl(yes I still refer to women as cute girls if they are cute. Lol)smiled at me but didn't really know what to do with that. I might have smiled back. Not sure.

So how do you follow up the "what time is it?" question after she answers you? Should you ask if she is by herself? I guess that's what I would do as it's less obvious than just coming right out and asking if she has a boyfriend. I suppose if she does have a bf or husband she would mention it when you ask if she is there by herself. I was initially asking for night time environments but knowing what to say during the day is important too. Thanks.

One thing to keep in mind is where you're approaching (i.e., the gym, grocery store, bookstore, coffee shop, etc.) You could shift things to something related to where you're at like if she knows where the classes are listed at the gym, or look to widen your range of tastes by asking what type of drink she has if you're at a coffee shop, etc.

Don't beat yourself up over things, remember that it's a process.

if you want the greatest success with an opener, it needs to be a "situational opener" as in using something in your environment as a conversational peice.
it is truely "natural" conversation and thus their is no need for a transition from you canned material to improv.
plus this is natural conversation so you won't have to wory about congruencey issues.

for instance": at college a girl was walking by me and i simply gave her a look and read the words on her tee shirt (wich were the name of a sports team) and i emidiatly transitioned into the topic of sports without even thinking about it, before i knew it i had a thirty minute convo and got her number.

the easiest conversations are natural ones

Don't stress to much about the opener it's less what you say more how you say it.

a well delivered hi is better than any line delivered badly.

Thanks guys. A situational opener could be the way to go in many circumstances. I was at a bar once when their was a baseball game on the tv there. A woman who was a flat out HB10 came right up next to me and I opened by commenting on the sports team on tv. It worked and we had a nice little conversation for a little while with her asking me questions. Unfortunately it didn't go anywhere due mainly to bad logistics(her friends were with her)but it was good to see I could have some level of success(however small)with a 10(actually more like an 11).

When at a club go up to your target and say, "Excuse me, but when you get off your break can you bring me another beer?"

All kinds of things can happen after you open with that line. You'll have to improvise the rest.

LOL there is no perfect opener. Every chick is different bro. You gotta feel them out and weed them out. My favorite opener though is Situational Indirect (due to ice shields) doing Night Game and Situational Direct (due to boredom) doing day game.

Direct always works great for me in the Day time. Indirect at Night makes me sometimes like a hero for a night. Going indirect during the day puts the girls on the defensive for some reason and going direct during the night can also put them on the defensive. You can do either or since it has worked better for some PUAs either way. I am not saying this is ironclad find what works for you.

Here's some of my killer openers I have that I like to get ioi's through the roof (Use with caution and confidence otherwise customize it to fit your own style).

    Night Game
"Hey I didn't want to lose the chance to talk to you."
    "How wasted are you?"
"You look like you are waiting for someone, are you waiting for a guy like me or should I leave?"

    Day Game
"Hey I thought you were cute and saw you smiling at me earlier so I wanted to see if you can impress me."
"You look busy but I'm attracted to you so should we go sit down somewhere?"
"You are one Hot Tamale but I'm forewarning you I like to play hard to get."
