    Default As$ U Me

Well I added this girl that just graduated from my high school. Well I charmed her and flirted with her and just went direct using a bf destroyer( she has a bf or whatever she calls it but it didn't seem like she cared). Anyway I got her number we started to text for 3 days then she got mad. Last night I hit her up on fb asking what happened. She said I should stop assuming things about her ( very contraversary to what I learnt in gaming >.> ). Well I fixed it and told her I wanted us to talk more and see where it leads. She said yeah but now, my question is, is assuming good or bad? And how do I not assume or how do I assume the right way instead of coming off as a jerk making fun of her.

I have no idea what you did wrong in order for you to warrant this. Could you please post your text conversations so we can see what you said / did to make her so angry?

I delete my text threads every week and it's been a while since the conversation. I was just assuming instead of asking her question. That's what she was basically saying

Girls/people will all take things very differently. Assuming may not be a bad thing. Some girls may actually enjoy your assumptions when they are correct and believe that you have a better read on them than most. Others, such as this one, would prefer to indulge the information themselves. No ground lost here. Just from now on, with this girl, take your assumption and form it into a question. She told you what she likes, now use it.

I'd have to say yes and no to BBall. There are people who are fine with people choosing to just playfully assume all the time. However, it is alright to switch things up a bit. If you ask a question like "what's your favorite color?", that's stupid. However, if the question about her is really interesting, such as "Have you ever tried to freestyle a dish like they do on Chopped?" then that is fair game to ask. Alternating between assumption and question never hurt anyone.

Assumptions are only bad if they are too serious or considered not funny enough by the reader. However, most assumption shots end in lengthy explanations by the target. I highly doubt that the issue was how you were doing the assumptions (then again I still don't know what they were). I would say you should just begin alternating assuming and questioning. Keep things balanced and mixed out, and you should be fine.

Alright thanks guys I'll keep that in mind. She just came from a funeral and I don't know what to say so I'm just going to wait a little bit cause I really don't care about it and don't want to fake it like I do.
