Default How should I open this?

I recently got a friend request on Facebook from a pretty good looking girl who I don't know but go to school with. I saw on her profile that she likes cats. I actually have a dhv story about how I rescued two kittens. I was debating if I should open up with the cat story or say something else. What do you guys think?

The cat thing might come off as weird( lol she might be like what does that have to do with anything). Start by saying something playful like " oh so you're my stalker everyone's been warning me about " . And then when things escalate and you get into a convo about cat you can use the dhv story to lock it down/ seal the deal
You lose some you win some, learn from your mistakes and get better!

Forget about facebook. Meet her in person. You can much more effectively communicate your attractive traits in person (more channels of sub communication available).

If you REALLY can't meet her in person first, flirt on facebook and try to meet her in person ASAP.

Have you considered some basic openers spiced up with a little feline hint. You've got to get her into the cat Mindset. Here are some examples:

    "Meow"
"Are you my facebook stalker? :P Just kitten' around"
    "How are mew doing?"
    "Hi."

Once she's hooked, drop the dhv about how you saved 2 kittens from a tree or yourself or whatever. Ya dig? Peace.
