Hey guys, brand new member here from Vancouver. Now I'm not that obsessed with myself but one of the main pieces of material I use is telling girls that I dive with great whites for a living(which is true). Obviously I don't pull that out of my hat right away, but it will eventually come up during a set what with the job/career question blah blah blah. When the topic comes up I usually go in steps like this :
HB: What do you do for a living?
FLOW: Oh, I am a diver.
HB: Really!? (Some sh1t about how she's always wanted to dive)
FLOW: Yeah, I love diving up here in BC and Alaska my heart is definitely back down in Baja.
HB: Blah blah blah, so what do you see, etc?
FLOW: Well actually, I dive on a tiny island 400 miles off of Mexico with great white infested waters. (Proceed to show picture on my phone of reaching out of the cage and touching it's snout)
After that line the HB doesn't really know what to do other than stand there with her jaw on the floor. So what I'm asking is if any of you were me, how would you present that differently than I do?
