    Default Open Ended Sentences

I've heard both Neil Straus and David DeAngelo talk about using open ended statements to get the girl or set to ask me the questions while fluffing. What are some examples of these? Does anybody know of an existing thread or external source of where I can find information?

    Thanks

I'm going to start by assuming you haven't read from either of them?

yes open ended questions make for good conversation starters, just be careful not to overuse questions.

an open ended question is usually used to get an opinion about some broad topic. it can be about anything.

I have found that the best open ended questions to start conversations with are about situational events that are currently affecting both you and the girl.

    example

today I had a test in my college health class, afterwards I approached a gorgeous brunette who I had my eye on. instead of asking her "was the test hard?" (wich I knew it was a tough test) I opened with "what did you think about that test?"

notice the subtle difference, the bad example "was the test hard?" would be answered with a simple yes or no and would have lead to a dead end.

the opener I used, "what did you think of the test?" lead to her telling me about how she didn't like the short answer section of the test and how her geology professor does the same thing on his tests and how annoying it is. I was then able to relate to her about how college classes are a lot harder than we thought they would be when we first started college.

by asking an open ended question about something we already had in common, I was able to easily relate to her. (and I will be gaming this chick throughout this semester)

I highly recommend you read the e-book "how to meet and connect with women" by wayne elise.
you can find it for free on the internet in pdf format, just google search it.

This is all very good information and I really do appreciate your response to my query. I am so new to this that all the knowledge I can absorb from you guys is like gold to me.

But my question however, is about open ended statements. Here is a direct quote from "The Game", which is where my question originated from.

"Now was the time to back off my game, and Fluff a little. However, I made sure never to ask questions. Instead, as juggler had taught me, I made open ended statements that led them to ask me the questions."

I suppose that these conversation tools are really to be used after the attraction phase and only once I have there full attention. Even so, I am very curious about this.

Would an open ended statement look like this?
"I just came back from a trip to Italy, there's so much culture over there!"

Yeah. Open-ended statements are basically just statements. They allow you to share ideas with the other person/people, without pressuring them in any way. You'll find that they will usually respond with more open-ended statements, and the conversation will snowball into a multi-threaded, interesting interaction.

An open-ended statement can be as simple as, "It's freezing in here!" Although your return statement will usually only be something like, "I know! I hate the winter."

Try something like, "Wow, this birthday party is really fun. I almost stayed in and slept tonight instead!" You'll get them asking why, and then you have more open-ended sentence choices to throw out there.

as juggler had taught me, I made open ended statements that led them to ask me the questions."
aha, i have read jugglers book "how to meet and connect with women" and now i know exactly what you are asking about.

its actually jugglers way of answering questions. the idea is that instead of just answering the question, you make a statement that's more opinionated witch gives her topics she can then try to relate to.

    examples

    instead of this:
her; how was your trip to Italy?
    me: it was good.
(basically cuts the convo off right there by not saying anything interesting

    do this:
her: how was your trip to Italy?

me: it was amazing, though there taxi cab drivers are crooks, i think they charged me extra cause i was drunk.

(notice i made a bigger statement that could lead to more interesting conversation and leaves her begging to hear some good stories)

this tactic is primarily used in comfort stage, though you can open with an open ended statement (its just harder than using open ended questions)

    example.

me: you took the last piece of cake, I hate you.

    her: really?

me: no, i just wanted an excuse to come talk to some pretty women.

(see what i did there, i made a statement about what was going on, and started an interaction)

for more stuff about this, i would highly recommend you actually read jugglers book. "how to meet and connect with women" by wayne elise
you should be able to find a pdf version online for free.
