Re: How would you game a celebrity?
Just because you're seemingly on a teir above peolle for being fanous or having win an award or great job doesnt change anything. You still have feelings, desires and needs like anyone else. I used to live in LA and hung out with national headlining comedians on a daily basis. It doesnt change anything. I eventually became good friends with pornstars too.
Before i get into the stories the rule of thumb i would give you is to not chase but to show intent and confidence in who you are in being the best version of yourself making them feel great about having you around them. Don't chase. Let them chase you. Hold your frame of intent. Don't put your cards out their first until you've got ioi's. Even celebs give IOI's.
Heres something to take away thats the bottom line truth... A comedian friend of mine once said "Porn Stars are just people" in which he would sometimes rephrase it to other comedians or other celebrities too. Their job requires them to treat people a certain way. In many respects they are the top of the Hired Gun game. But in my experience its actually easier to talk about them because they're used to all levels of extreme scenes of the dark reality of being a person. If you don't know what i mean i'll explain it further... These so called celebs tend to lump people into categories rather fast when meeting people. They have to. Its a way to protect themselves from the harsh reality that everyone not only wants their attention but their money and their false realities that their fans sometimes create. I had a friend who drives porn stars from their homes to their sets / meetings / events and back and could trust few people in their personal lives. He said that in the first few weeks of driving a porn star one girl opened up in saying how cool he was and that she wanted to hire him for driving her to a bar so she could hang out and pretty much be normal. Her last driver whom she was seemingly good friends with tried to hit on her and break that wall and she wasn't for it. It pretty much creeped her out and she had to find a different driver. Ultimately the rules of gaming still apply to even these celebs or porn stars. Even though they tend to have their walls pretty defined for people they meet and interact with daily be it people from work on a set to dealing with fans you still need to be not creepy. And by doing this would just be yourself and treat them normally. When it comes to their job i tend to avoid talking about it unless its specific and i can direct the conversation to be playful. Having been around comedians and porn stars i learned through months of conversing to refind myself in a confident manner to just talk about anything and everything. Sex, relationships and drugs were often topics because everyone had a story to share. My trick was to never have a trick and just treat people how i imagined being treated. If the celeb, comedian or porn star was working i let them be--its rude to stop them while their working even if their doing their job and saying hi or bye to people. In those small moments of down time it was always best to treat everything like inside joke time busting jokes, stories or whatever. They are just people so i talked to them like people. Reality is, is that people who hate their job either love to hate their job and talk about it or try to avoid it as much as possible unless they feel pressured to talk about it. You can totally game them as normal. Once you put them on a pedastal and tryto game them then you've been lumped into 2 categories 'fan' and 'potential creep'. So just treat them like normal. You don't game a HB10 by point out how hot she is right? So don't tell a celeb they look hot either unless they are in a potentially vulnerable state when they question themselves because reality is hitting them hard and they are disgusted by how fake or negative things are.
Heres a story i have before i picked up Pick Up. Think back a few years ago. I was at a strip club, my beighbor who is a national headlining comic waa throwing together a show and a porn star was there. It was new years eve. The ball was dropping. Looking around most of the girls were strippers or girls who were there for the show with friends whom i didnt know. I knew maybe a quarter of the people there. For the most part i was a well reserved guy who didnt say much but i tried to be normal and show as much emotion as possible when strippers were dancing or porn stars are on stage. I was never staring at them like a peice of meat just itching to get into their pants. I would regularly talk to my friends and just be there. So back to the ball dropping, i was at the stage near the dj booth, i had been sitting there the most of the night just chilling out. Everyone was trying to get drinks as the ball dropped, on stage was was a porn star who actually won AVN's scarlet award for the year. She was hot but the look of wanting to kiss someone for new years was all over her face. Interestingly enough no one was around. I was just looking around trying to find my friends but we made eye contact and we both must have said it to ourselves mentally why not. We frenched. I wasn't grabby. The kiss was about 10 seconds long. Keep in mind she never said a word before or after the kiss to me and nor did i. It was completely silent in the moment. Kind of like a fantasy romance novel. We pulled back smiled at each other and as we had a slight awkward pause my friend on the mic started the show back up again. My other friend came up to me and high fived me. We laughed about it. As i look back at it she probably looked at it as i took advantage of the moment with my friend high fiving me like it was a frat boy moment. Kinda sad i didnt do anything after but in the end she was working. That brief moment of being a person in downtime exists for everyone no matter how famous or rich you are.
Lol my life surpises me the more i look back at it.
Every moment counts, get out of your head and enjoy it.
