    Default problem with eye contact

I do well when I go on a first date and don't have problems with that but I have terribly bad Approach Anxiety so I decided to take a first step and just smile and girls I walk by. I know it seems lame but its hard for me to do. Anyways, I will be in the mall or walking down the street or whatever, I have a fairly neutral look on, not smiling but not looking like I am keeping to myself. Just a straightish face with a hint of being happy. Anyways, 99 percent of the people that walk by me don't even glance at me. Its like I am invisible. I am a good looking guy so I don't get it. I want to smile at these chicks but I can't seem to get any of them to even acknowledge I exist let alone make eye contact and smile back. Any Suggestions?

You have to smile ...... it makes people think you are happy and having a good time and it makes you approachable ..... I can't tell you how many girls I have opened with just a good smile and a simple "Hi"

Just look them in the eyes until they look away. If they keep looking at you, or if they look down and look back to you, smile. It's pretty easy.

The more you do this, the more confident you will be.

People don't look at you, because you show low confidence and a lot of introvert behavior. Walk as if you're the fucking king of the area. No need to be always smiling, 'cause you're not a clown. But walk with pride. Broad shoulders, chest out, etc.

Health plays a decent factor as well, get your testosterone levels up with eating healthy food (e.g. no processed foods with white sugars or premade bs, eat good servings of nuts, vegetables, fruits) I would suggest following the food pyramid! Most people seldom follow it. Health and the desire to approach in conjunction will help you become a solid natural dude. If you're like me and have Type 1 Diabetes, if you don't take care of that shit it will impair you as well. At times you will be stuck in your head and over-thinking and shit but there's always a reason why that happens.

Exercise with good intensity (basically the key is to always challenge yourself, if you're curling 5lbs and you can do 30 reps that won't help w/testosterone whatsoever...) The first approaches will feel awkward as fuck, I would suggest doing enough where you beat that 'plateau' and then you can approach easily. (whenever you start out in ANYthing, you will have to leap over plenty of plateaus) Smile, observe, comment, and smile :^)

I know right, what's with this?

I'll walk in Toronto and 0% of people, let alone girls, will look at each other. Its fucking miserable.

Yet I'll walk by my local mall, and everything changes.. I got a fresh haircut and my best clothes on at the mall yesterday, and this young girl (less than 18) was holding eye contact with me for like 5 seconds straight, with her mouth open, and the look on her face was just "Please fuck me "
