Thread: direct or indirect?

    Default direct or indirect?

So as I've done a lot of book research over the pst month, I've seen varying schools of thought on the type of opener to use. Each has its own purpose of course. So I want to take a pool of your thoughts on this gentleman. Who prefers direct openers over opinion openers? Do you use both?

O, so here is a second question then. Do you guys prime all sets or not? If your not familiar, priming is when you get eye contact and force an ioi by responding to the the eye contact i.e. wave, smile, nod head anything that acknoledges contact and can be considered an interaction.

amino you dont need to use that thing. well i dont, but if you are only going to open the sets of girls that have given you eye contact and you are not a ... adonis, you are not going to inteact much. Im pretty out of shape(working on it) and shallow girls will not show IOIs just by looking at me. i gotta open my mouth to be able to get a chance.

The best way is to actually get some sort of nonverbal interaction (smile, eye contact or something).. then when you approach it is not a cold approach, but now a WARM approach. And CERTAINLY going direct is the best for a WARM approach.

NOTE: I almost always do warm approaches. And you don't have to be super good looking.. just give her a look like you recognize her, but you are not sure from where. Try it.

Direct is the way to go no doubt.

BTW its not a bad idea to keep those opinion ones on file in your head. If you are having problems getting to a hook with a group, or even if the conversation starts to die you can stack back to it. At least it’s a way on introducing a new conversation thread.
