Hi fellas -
Just looking for advice on the perfect alpha response... Bit of background: This is a true 9 that I've been dating for 3 months with regular sex. She is one of four women I'm seeing, although she does hold the current No. 1 ranking It appeared as if I had total control of things but as you'll see, apparently not! After she completely disappeared for a weekend, I received this:
"Sorry I wasn't around this weekend. I was at a friend's wedding with my ex. That's why I have been standoffish. I felt guilty about going to this wedding and continuing to hang out with you. Sorry I didn't tell you about it earlier. He asked me kind of last minute after Halloween and that's why you and I haven't hung out.
I've enjoyed hanging out with you though. You're a really nice guy. It's complicated with the ex since we never broke up because of how we felt or how we treated each other. I just wanted to be honest with you."
WOW! I have been picking up women for years and I'm confident in my abilities at the highest level. Of course I'm not always successful, but NEVER ONCE in a long career have I had a woman voluntarily walk away from a sexual relationship with me. NEVER.
Now the perfect alpha response to this would be to go out and pickup other girls. In fact I'm about to head out and do just that. And I'm sexually involved with three other women, so all told I can't complain.
In short, it's not the loss of the girl that bothers me, it's the comment. What annoys me most is that for the first time, I was pegged as a beta-male! I was nice-guy'ed! In fact, "you're a really nice guy," is so grating it pains my brain to even hear that sentence out loud. SO... I'd like to write back something, even if it's as short and simple as, "Are you kidding? OR "Your loss. Have a nice life." Any thoughts?
