Default What to say after an opener?

I have no problem opening a set, no Approach Anxiety whatsoever. The thing that gets me is what do I say after shes responded to an opener?
Lets use an opinion opener for examples sake
"What do you think of tattoos on guys"
She responds bla bla oh yea bla its cool
What do you say after that I'm totally stumped on this aspect.

Yeah well, me personally think most used (posted) opinion openeres really suck and are of the same caliber as "Did it hurt when you fell out of heaven?" and are simply lameI would never use this one about tattoos on guys: although is once saw Alex Coulson start a conversation with the story of a girl that want to tatttoo her Bf's name on her upper arm and the name is BUTCH (what do you think of that)Now the fact that you dont know what to say indicates that this opener does not fit your personality because it does not trigger your superlyrical abilities. You should (i hate use the words) get so enthusiastic by opening that it opens any creative thinking system in your tiny skull. For me this mostly works when i use openers that are truthfull but still mysterious, more like Deangelo and stuff, something like:You look like a great speaker, are you friendly?if she says YES/MAYBE/NO - I say:"Oooh you know what they say about woman that..."or use:"Do you believe in selfabsorbing destructive impulses on first sight?"or simply and honest:"You look like someone i want to meet!"GOOD LUCK friendo

after you open the set, just say something that will make them laugh. then joke around, and tease them, and just have fun. don't think about what your gonna say, just be spontaneous, and funny. it all works depending on your character and personality.

I had this same question heading out to the bar last night. What ended up working for me was after my opener I rolled into, "Are you guys best friends? Yes/No. Cause you make the same facial expressions." I body rocked, then went into A2 and they were really responsive.

I'm fairly new to this. I don't get the point of opinion openers. I mean you get the opinion. There has to be a purpose. Some of the users can't state it clearly. You're a stranger. So if you keep talking, change the subject or whatever she'll be like why are you still around.

Just go with more direct or build comfort.

Say whatever that comes from the top of your head. Treat her as if she's someone that you know/have already known. Talk to her as you would a friend.

You're too in your head, brotha. Just pay attention to what she's saying and respond to it. You don't need to come up w/ something witty and smooth every time.

    Just listen and respond.

If you feel you're f*cking this up after you've done that then go home later that night and re-read some material on Opening/Attraction...

That's simple thinking! Once you give her the opinion opener you can either give her a story behind it or tell her why you wanted to know and transition. Remember to introduce yourself, so she won't feel as if she's talking to a complete stranger.

    CallMeWonder,

What is it that you want to know about the Girl? What is it that you want to talk about in that given moment? Why did you approach her to begin with? These types of questions are running through her head and it helps to provide clues or answers as to why she should stick around to chat with you.

Here's a counter-intuitive tip I teach guys in field: If you're using a canned pickup line or a variation of any opener including opinions, and you're having trouble transitioning or maintaining the conversation, the next step immediately following her response to your opener is something along these lines:

"Actually I just needed something to say so I can find out who you are", or "that was my best pickup line, how'd I do?", or "Actually I just digg your style so I thought I'd say Hi"... then add: "What's your name??" or "aaand You aaarrre??" and continue with an organic conversation.

Its an Anti-Opener of sorts. By sarcastically or humorously admitting to using an opener to catch her attention you can generate a lot of fun, laid back energy and it totally takes the pressure off of having to recite a story or some off-the-wall explanation for why you asked such a random, pointless question in the first place. Woman are smart - they're going to know that we're BS'ing well before we even open our mouths. So try keeping it simple.

If you're practicing approaches and you're at a loss for words, your openers may not be organic or suited to your personality type. What's the typical subject of conversation that you get into when you first meet a hot girl? And what is your typical opener?

Why must guys think so hard about how to start a conversation? If on our end,we have to plan our entire conversation, then isn't it all gonna be artificial? It is just too much for me to remember. What can we do to simplify it?
