The best way to establish that you are a self-confident guy who seeks out the best that life has to offer is to immediately show women that you are not going to work to impress them.
Instead, women need to realize that they must work to impress you.
This is especially true when it comes to really hot women. They are used to groveling, supplicating men at their beck and call.
The first, and best, thing you can do is to make sure they know they are going to have to live up to your expectations instead of it being the other way around.

Here are some ways to do that:

• Tease her. This might possibly be the best way to show you are self-confident. Give her a hard time about something — anything — but make sure it is always done with a big smile or a small smirk and that she knows beyond a doubt you are not just being an arrogant jerk.
• Show your approval when she says or does something that you like. For instance, you might say, “You are a Yankees fan? High five. You just scored a point in my book.” At the same time, don’t be afraid to take that point right away again if she doesn’t please you. Say, for instance, she hates Bruce Springsteen. Tell her she’s lost a point and then tease her: “Seriously? How could anyone hate the boss? I don’t know if I can hang out with you any longer.” If you do it with a smile, she will then try to earn your approval in some other way.
• Don’t ever compliment her on her God-given looks. Instead, if you must compliment her (which I advise against anyway) then make it about something that she has done. You might say that you like the color she picked for her scarf or something.
• Make fun of something about her in a gentle way. You might tease her about her hair, saying her blonde roots are showing (especially if she dark hair) and then say something about how you didn’t know the two-tone hair look was in. Find something that is funny, but won’t make you come across as an arrogant jerk.
• Make it seem as if your time with her is limited. Say you need to get going in a few minutes. Don’t linger. Make it seem as if you are a hot commodity with a busy life and are just taking a few moments with her. Then make sure you really have somewhere fun to go and get out of there.

These are all ways to show you are confident when you first meet. Remember that it is important to keep this up to a certain extent even after you begin dating. Keep your boundaries and standards firm. Don’t let them slip even for a minute or you’ve lost. For example, if she is late, only let her get away with it once. The second time she is late, don’t wait for her, even if it means going to the concert alone. Remember, no one else is as important as holding firm to your self-esteem and your standards.
