Avoid the friend zone

Too many guys, in an effort to make girls like them, do everything that they THINK a girl wants them to do. They are sweet, understanding, nice, and thoughtful.

And then what happens is they end up in the friend zone.

Once you land yourself in the friend zone, it’s a long ways from there to being a guy who turns them on.

Here’s five tips on how to avoid being firmly ensconced into the friend zone.

Act cocky. It’s okay to be a little arrogant. Have a bit of an attitude. Act like your you-know-what doesn’t stink. Put it on big time. Even if you are sort of a humble, modest, guy, you need to act a bit cocky. Realize that there is a fine line between cocky and annoying and learn how to walk that line.

Tease her. Nothing says you are not a suck-up, supplicating, wimp in the friend zone better than the ability to tease her. Call her on everything. Give her a hard time, but always do it with a smile on your face. She will love you for it. As long as you aren’t cruel or over-the-top, teasing her creates and escalates Sexual Tension in a great way.

Send mixed signals. Do a bit of the push and pull method. For instance, get right up to her face and look right into her eyes, then look at her lips like you want to kiss her and then suddenly back up and do something else. It will drive her mad and get her wondering exactly what it would be like to lay one on you. It will firmly propel you out of the friend zone.

Kiss her. This sounds so basic and yet so many guys who are worried about getting stuck in the friend zone don’t take this basic step. Wait for the right moment and lean in, saying “you are so sexy’ and give her a sexy kiss. Make it brief and gentle and you could even say, “Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.” And see what her response is.

Tell her. Tell her she’s hot and you want to get her alone as soon as possible. Take charge. Men who have the guts to go for it turn on women. If she protests, say that you thought she wanted the same thing and if she doesn’t then you better move on because you already have enough female friends. You can say you were looking for something a little bit more with her. You can also add that you aren’t going to make any promises about what will happen between you next, but that if you are going to continue to hang out, it has to be more than friends – with the potential of a romantic relationship – or you’d be better off spending time with another woman. You can apologize for the misunderstanding, but don’t apologize for your feeling this way.
