The book is called “Les Hommes Expliques Aux Femmes” which means “Men Explained to Women” in English. It is written by a French man named Vincent Cespedes. The 37-year-old philosopher talks about how men are different and why.
We men aren’t always the best at understanding our emotions. This is natural. As men, we are biologically programmed to do a bit more thinking than feeling. We tend to be a tad more logical.

When a man and a woman are having a conversation, notice how they describe what is going on. During the dialogue, the woman will usually make some type of comment like this: “I FEEL that you are not listening to me like you should be.” While the man will make some type of comment like this: “I THINK that you are wrong and I do listen to you very carefully.”

Notice, it is not about what they are arguing about, which could be anything from who ate the last pickle to who was cheating on the other one, the point is the language they are using to express themselves. Men say they THINK. Women say they FEEL.

So there are differences. Not in his book, Cespedes explains where some of the fire has gone from the passion in relationships. He writes that it is all the era of instant gratification to blame.

Women have asserted themselves as equals in every area and unless men adapt to this and accept it graciously, it will harm relations between the genders.
