I am stuck in friend zone

I am 20 and I am like a normal guy. the problem with me is that i am not at all shy with girls but i used to get stuck in friend zone with them.
one of the reason maybe is that i am a nice guy and i make them feel too comfortable or i am not challenging enough (that's what i have thought).

so my question is that how to overcome the friend zone and be challenging enough?

ps- allow me to be dramatic but it really breaks my heart everyday to be friend with a girl whom i thought as the one.

Search around the forums for tons of advice on getting out--or better yet, staying out--of the friend zone. It is much easier to stay out in the first place than get out once you are there. But for now just ignore this girl, flirt with other girls, go out and hit on as many other girls as you can and just forget about her.

Throw a party and casually remark that she can come along if she wants, but just show her that you don't need her at all and that you are a fun, social, and well-connected person who has other options. Then you can start flirting with her and establish a new relationship with her--one in which you are not friends (since you haven't been hanging out/texting her). Again, there are no guarantees--she might never want to date you ever, no matter what you do--but this is probably the best way to increase your chances.
