I've known her for a year and speak on the phone but never see her. We worked together and 10 months and were basically bf/gf at work and the chemistry was crazy. Soon as we met she called me everyday for 2 months, and we had a few dates.
She told me she wasn't over her ex a few times, and that it wasn't the right time. I knew she liked me as when she told me this for the third and final time, she almost burst into tears and tried to do everything from having me see this. She would stare at me with a teary twinkle in her eye with a smile, and either blush or squint whenever she was around me.
She won't date me, but has "guy friends" who for hangs with even though they want her. She told me she would like to settle down, and that money would be an issue for us if we wanted to live and be happy. She said our low paying jobs wouldn't allow us to look after ourselves and it made me feel awkward.
I asked her if she was scared if something would happen if we met and she said "yeah" but I'm not sure what to believe. Last summer we were really close and she invited me to her birthday and then when it actually happened she didn't even answer her phone and "changed plans" and also mentioned other guys would be there and our personalitys would "clash" it just makes me feel so sad because this girl is fun and very good looking.
We have a part time job which we will see eachother once a month but I wont actually work with her. She tried to say once us being work colleagues was the reason she wouldn't go out with me, but I have not worked with her or seen her in 3 months and once a month at a part time job isn't exactly work colleagues. So frustrating as the Tension between us was unbelievable.
Why won't she give me a chance 
Should I feel bad about this?
