this is any obstalce that could stop a PUA from fully closing. it can be anything such as the various friends, AMOG's, hired guns or any other indivudual who stops the PUA from fully closing and gives them an obstacle to overcome. most of the time the cock block is either an AFC or AMOG trying to stop the hookup.
