Strange reaction from direct approach?

I thought I’d do my first field report, actually its more of a question then a report, I have been really interested in Direct Game as opposed to indirect (Which I have been doing to little success till now) and tried my first direct approaches – The first went well, the girl was married (Should have checked for a ring), but she was really friendly and said she liked what I did and it made her day, so she walked off smiling (Which was a great feeling too, something Indirect Game hadn’t given me in the past), although the second one wasn’t so good. I stopped a woman and told her she was beautiful and absolutely meant it, but she just huffed and then even after stopping, walked away. I have no idea why, which kind of put me on a downer. Another old woman heard me and laughed and said something unlucky, but well done for trying. Haha which was still something good, although I cannot understand why a woman reacts like that, she stopped and was fine, moment I called her beautiful she just huffed and started walking – Any thoughts? Would really help. Thanks

Dude cold approaches are SUPER hard. Congrats for doing it.. the more you do it the better you will become. My advice is keep doing it. I've seen the best PUAs get completely rejected for no reason - some women are just not open to talking to strangers no matter how perfect they do it.

Doing a cold approach is like walking through a mine field. You never know when you are going to bump into a mine.

Maybe I should have used a different illustration...there is no upside to that one.

The point is, you never know where the woman head is. Could be she just had some creep hit on her, or she might have just broken up with her boyfriend...ect. You never know. That is why, especially in cold approach, you can't let the outcome affect you negatively.

I will say this.. as I dedicated myself to doing more day game approaches (as f'ing hard and frustrating as it was) I noticed my night game became basically unstoppable.

I am convinced that you are not a good PUA unless you have day game. But if you are a PUA and have put even a little effort into day game, then night game is easy.

Dare I say my night game became simple.

I think really good looking women don't necessarily appreciate being told how beautiful they are. I've noticed that a few times when i've done it in the past so I quit. But they're impressed if you just grab their asses I guess

women have been called "beautifull" thousands of times more often than not, by "nice guy". they brush him off and continue on.

She most likely thought that you may have been "nice guy" and thought "oh no not another nice guy complimenting me on something i've been told thousands of times"

either way you had the balls to do what most other guys can only talk about.

I think you'd have done better if you commented on her smile, or asked her to smile. But like what the others have said, if girls were that easy to spell, pick up wouldn't be an art form.
