Meet The X!!!

I got a little bit of a problem here... My Girlfriend's X asked us to visit his art collection.. I was pretty hesitant about it.. I know you guys know how it feels when you meet your gf's X.. I know they're over but there's that feeling that I can't explain.. is it jealousy?or something else... I want to be courteous so that my gf won't feel there's something wrong... could you pls help me out on this?....

It's insecurity. You're good enough, she is sleeping with you, kissing you, thinking about you, you are better then average, she is bringing you to meet him, because she is proud of you, she is showing you off, you are the prize, stand up tall and be proud. This will be strange for the drive there and the first few moments of meeting, and you are going to be calm, and confident, and when it's done, she is going to go home with you, and fark you, and not him, you.

Dude, you may not be jealous but I guess being confronted by the fact that some other guy was intimate with your present girl is bound to feel awakward. But just relax and enjoy the date, after all, it's still a date with your GF. Plus, you can also choose to end the evening on a note where the X doesn't feature.

Oh man.. I know how it feels.. being in that situation? it totally sucks.. But if you come to think of it. She is confident in showing you to her X. Just relax and try to think that this kind of situation will make you better in handling similar situations. Thus, it makes your relationship stronger and better.

It's insecurity bro.. I agree with Instinct. Just think that you're the winner. You are the one whom your gf is sleeping with and the one who is important to her. Don't get your feelings out of the way becoz it will surely blow up....

Out of cuiosity though... is your girl still friends with the X and just how good friends are they? I'm not saying exes can't be friends but save for a few exemptions, I also don't feature in my exes' lives anymore, and don't expect any future girlfriend of mine to do the same. Surely, it also shouldn't matter if you guys boycott the art collection entirely?

Spring Break is right.. You can opt not to watch his exhibit.But the problem is, if your girlfriend will agree. Maybe she's just interested in the art collection and it happened that it is her X's collection. There's no problem on that. If you really don't want to go, well.. you just have to make a plan on what to do that day...

Thanks for your responses guys.. A part of me is saying that we should not go. We will just do something.But a part of me is saying just go, so as not to disappoint or kill the excitement of my gf.She just really want to see the exhibit.

Have you told your gf about your weird feelings about it? It's not that you're making a mountain out of a molehill, but I always thought you should be upfront with your girl most of the time. If just the idea is bumming you out already, am sure she can go with a friend and you can still meet her after so she can tell you about it.

Dude, I have a high quality girlfriend, if I even hinted that I couldn't handle the presence of her ex, she'd be farking him in 5 minutes. Come on Man up. Relationships are way harder than pick up, and I have been studying it hard for a while, this is a sh1t test.
