Bringing the EX back

An update to my story:

We were at the mall buying stuff for Christmas. She saw this cool watch along the way. Out of no where, she brought up again her bf. I was pissed off and handled myself properly. In a calm tone, I told her,"That's nice. Why won't you buy that for him. After all, it's Christmas right?" She was a bit confused and we walked away from the watch. When we were at the cashier's area, I saw my EX GF. I said hi and greeted her a Merry Christmas. I introduced my GF to my EX. My EX and I were talking like friends as we were falling in line to pay our stuff at the cashier. I noticed that my GF is silent and just smiling. My EX went off because she is meeting somebody at a cafe. We said goodbyes.

It really felt good that this time, I had a bit of revenge to my gf. I hope she won't stop bringing up her EX again..

Yeah, let her be the one confused this time!

And maybe you can try getting it out of her system. For one afternoon, suggest that you talk about your exes, why you broke up with them. That could have disastrous results but it's something am likely to do when pissed.

I like you idea bro. I am like that sometimes, I want to cool off my head by negging with her when I'm pissed off. The only thing is that, i don't want to create conflicts and could lead to a disastrous situation. But, okay, I'll take your advice and see how it works, though in a lighter way.

As they say "It's time to give her a taste of her own medicine." I'm not saying tough be harsh and hard on her. Just give her a little slap on her ass to wake her up. Try negging a bit and observe how she reacts.Also, bring you EX on the scene. Just like what she did.

I like the ass slapping thing.Hehehe. Anyways, Yes, shake her a little so that she will then realize that she is bitching already. It's time for you to stand up and make her realize that you are his BF.

So, has the ghost of the ex haunted your present relationship lately? Hopefully this is completely resolved by New Year. And
it just ocurred to me, what if she really is actually just fishing for reassurances when she mentions the ex? Try thinking
back on conversation veins before she mentions the ex, were you possibly being aloof or ambivalent or as women like to say,
'neglectful'?

Some girls want reassurance to always come even if they know you love her. It's not a bad thing though for her to do some checking if the passion is still on. Maybe she wants to bring up her EX so that she will see how you react. Or she feels that you are going too far away from here and she needed to check if you're still in her or not. Sometimes, checking your partners loyalty and feelings for you are important, yet, it could be annoying and can create some conflicts.Just like what ROYALFLASh has shared to us.

Thanks for the opinions and suggestions guys. Maybe I was too confident with her. I forgot to make her feel from time to time that I'm all hers. Maybe she has a little bit of insecurity because we don't often hang out anymore.

Well, if you know you've done some things to improve what you have with her already (say, hang out witrh her more) and she still brings up her ex from time to time, I say confront her head on and be done with it.

If she still does what she used to (bringing her ex up), despite of the efforts to improve your relationship. It's best to confront her and ask what the issue is really about. And let her establish a good reason why she's doing it. If not, better cool off with her and get some time to think over the situation.
