To cancel or not to cancel for tonight?!

Supposed to have a day 1 with a new girl tonight. Woke up this morning with my back all jacked up and I'm afraid I might just be a bummer. Don't want to be a B**ch though and be like 'owie I hurt myself'. Anyway, I've got some house cleaning to do before I go anyway so that's a problem with a f'ed up back too. I think I should call it off for today what do you think?

Either call it off, or call her over to take care of you.

Don't try to shake it off just so you don't disappoint her.

Well, unless you need to actually go to the doctor, maybe you can change the plan a bit. I'd say still meet her, either by getting her to come over as Bill suggested, or just meeting her for a quick coffee. An hour of laying the foundation for your future game should be manageable enough. Unless, like I said man, you need to go see a doctor.

I ended up just telling her what happened and cancelling. It f'ing hurt so bad man. Gettin' old ain't for sissies. I took like 2 tylenol and 2 advil at the same time it didn't do $hit. She seemed a little put off initially but I reeled her back in and we're hanging tomorrow

Will do, she's about 8 years younger than me 28-20 so I don't really know what to expect but we'll find out won't we lol

I say it would be better to call it off. Tell her that you are not feeling well and you got some more things to do at home. If you insist going out even if you're not feeling fine, you may just end up in a loose end. You will never enjoy the company and may spoil the fun. Tell her you're sick and you need somebody to take care of you(in a funny way). Maybe, instead of hanging out in a bar, she may decide to just stay in your place and help you out.
