Hey there you guys, i would like to share with you all some of the techniques i've learnt through reading up on covert persuasion techniques. They were originally meant for business purposes, but i've worked on them and altered them to fit for dating
Anyway, i figured i could use this thread to share with you the various techniques and update them from time to time. I hope to receive feedback from you guys too!
So here's my first entry.
Today i shall discuss a principle called the “contrast” principle. This principle is constantly underused because little people consciously know of it, and perhaps it’s better that way, given how strong it is. But nevertheless, if you wish to make a woman do what you want, this principle is an absolute necessity in your arsenal of techniques.

The contrast principle works like this. You make a succession of requests (usually two is enough), each request getting from “big” to “small”, and the “small” request being the request you wanted to attain all along. That way, due to the huge contrast in the requests, there stands a higher chance your initial intended request (the “small” one) would be attained in the end. Here’s an example of how i use this to my advantage.

Suppose i want to ask this girl out on a movie date. I’ll ask her “Hey! Are you up for a movie marathon?”. If she agrees then.. good for me -shrugs. But if she doesn’t, giving whatever reason she has (the exception being she’s genuinely busy), then i’d proceed to ask, “well then, perhaps only one movie then?”. This would hugely increase her chances of agreeing to my outing.

This can work in a variety of ways, for example, if i wanted to ask her out to lunch, i could ask her, “Hey, are you free for the whole of tomorrow?” and if she says she isn’t, then i simply ask, “well, what about just lunch then?”. There are a whole host of varieties, you just have to brainstorm a little more to apply them correctly in your life. Do note that this contrast principle also involves a slight use of the reciprocation principle, which i will tell you about in the future.
Oh yeah, and i got to admit the movie ” New Moon” ain’t half as nice as the book, plus Jacob looks like he went on steroids too. -grumbles.
Anyway, if you have anything variation to the use of the contrast rule, i urge you to add it in! and do leave some feedback on what you think!
Yours sincerely,
Desmond Leong
