Am I Dealing With Flaking Right?

Ok.

I made the mistake of not calling her a day before to make sure that she was still able to go on the date that we scheduled, but I talked to her at school and she said that she had to babysit. (Note: I'm in high school)

I have other things that I planned with other girls because she seems to be unreliable in her scheduling since last time we scheduled something she said that she couldn't do it until later in which she got back to me on it, but how should I deal with it now?

I'm currently punishing her by holding off all contact unless she reinitiates it with a "hey, did you still want go to _____ " which is what she did last time. If she contacts me tomorrow, I will go on the date with her, but if she doesn't I won't contact her about it and I'll just do something else with these other girls.

Also, reason for this exclusive dilemma with this girl is that she seems more like my type that I'd want to date rather than just hook up with and/or only date.

So, again, Am I Dealing With Her Flaking the Right Way?

Tell her you have to reschedule or you are downgrading her to tuesday girl.


Make it playful, make it fun. If all else, find another... dude... it's high school.... secretly... all the girls are horny and thinking about sex....

Be yourself but have value, by telling yourself - you will not allow friends that do not value your time or keep commitments to continue to be friends.

Exactly, start talking to girls find out what their hobbies are and ask to join and hang out, there are so many possibilities in the world..


Have something different each day of the week so there is something to push back or re-schedule...

Meeting girls for drinks is much better than dinner cost less as well as she should pick up her tab. Never pay for someone else's habits.... That's a rule.

Yeah, this girl is NEXTed until she reinitiates contact with me because she's a senior and I'm a junior and I was having dilemma about whether to keeping gaming it with her or have my full attention on the other girls in my grade since there's only a semester left. She's definitely out until she's done something for me to think otherwise.
Also, don't get me wrong, I game all these other girls, it's just that this one seems more like the gf type which I like rather than just any of the other date/hang out girls.
