I'm curious, what's the deal with girls scheduling dates then bailing hours before??

This girl has evidently had a crush on me big time, so I played into it by not expecting much & I started talking to her. I say silly and playful stuff to make her laugh and she seems like shes the one that's really into me. So we schedule a date for Wednesday night for dinner and yadda yadda yadda. So come Wednesday afternoon I'm asking her when she wants me to come get her and she Flakes out and says she has something to do.

Now I'm not frustrated about this or anything, but am I the only one that is insulted when someone bails on you when you have had plans for several days in advance? This crap has happened more often that I can possibly imagine and it really starts to piss me off more than upset me. It's such a run of the mill thing that girls do anymore.

She won't be hearing from me in the near future.... obviously, because I'm not needy.

lol yeah sometimes they just bail if they arent up for a date or something came up...so basically wait for her to say sorry and then insure her that its ok but then just tell her that you arent able to go out for like 2 weeks cause you were trying to have fun before you got really busy. It will show that ur not needy and that she missed out on the time she could have had but then still be fun, dont act mad or hurt. Just keep seeming like you totally want to go out but only if you can find some time...

well essentially you meet them and you form a reppore and desire for you, but there are so many factors that make that situation only applicable to that situation
over the course of a few days alot can happen and alot can change, she may forget who you are, the excitement and feelings obvsiouly fade and shes had nothing to keep it going, the date grows closer and suddently its more the case of"oh god im meeting someone i dont really know for a drink he could do or be anything or anyone!"
they freak and bail simply becasue they are scared or dont hold any of the orgional attractment, dont take it personally, just ask them nicely what the reason was, then ask if they can offer a resedual right there, and if they cant offer an excuse or a reschedual its liekly they are pulling your leg, just sa

then forget about her move on she probably wont text or call back, maybe she will if so awesome but otherwise failed.
