Need help on converting a longtime crush into a girlfriend

Hey guys,
I am not bad with women, I have had my fair share of girlfriends. But, I read Neil Strauss's The Game and was inspired to become a PUA.

But, as this transformation happened, I came in contact with a girl on whom I have had a real longtime crush and I want to know what to do to attract her. I think I am suffering from the case of oneitis - and I don't wanna screw up!

Here's the long and short of the whole thing. I know this girl ever since we were kids, then she moved away and when she came back we sort of moved along different paths of life and I never really befriended her. She dated other guys, I dated other girls.

Now, after a 4 year relationship I am single and she is single after a 6 year long relationship, where the guy was physically abusive and on one occasion almost choked her to death!

The other complication is that my cousin brother was her best friend when they were kids and she considers him to be a brother to her. SO, I do not want to be seen by extension as her elder brother too..

So, my question, what should my strategy be to snare this chick?

Please guys I feel like this is my last shot with her and I really wanna give it my best shot, I don't want to later regret in life that I didn't go after her. If it fails, fine, she wasn't destined to be mine, but I don't wanna feel later that I didn't give my best shot.

You might also want to get good at Push-Pull techniques because they (when used well) can make a girl addicted to you.

Push-Pull is a technique where you give attention/show attraction (the push) and then don't give attention/show attraction (the pull). Pretty much you want to reward her with attraction and attention, but don't get carried away doing it, she can't keep doing the same things to get your attraction and attention. Another part of push-pull is treating a girl like she is just a normal girl, or maybe even worse, and then flipping it and treating her like she is super special to you when she starts feeling bad. It works amazingly well and I know I probably miss-explained some of this or skipped over something important so someone should check.

so, dude first thing you gotta do, trust me completely on this one, start dating another girl NOW. the AFC sh1t that comes from oneitis will not let you succeed with that girl. You are going to be stronger in the interactions with her if you do. After you have done that do some reading around the forums and you will be good to go but that first step is the key to success.
