Letting a Girl Down

Hey guys,

David D. always says becoming successful with women is also a process of exchanging problems. You solve some problems, only to obtain "higher value" problems - or as he calls them, "good problems." Well, this problem is not so fun.

What do you do when you date a girl, and the dates go well, and she's wildly attracted to you, and you aren't feeling it as you do for other women and desire other women over her? I mean, how do you let her down easy? I know when I do it's going to be a heartbreaking affair for her, and I shall incur her wrath. She's going to cry and tell me I'm unfair and beg to know why I'm doing this and resolve to change, even though it's been 2 dates, I feel it. She texts me all the time and I can feel the cling. She's really jealous as well. I hate this. Lemme know what you would do.

Now you know how girls feel when guys smother them with affection (see how it is driving you away)?

OK as for her- just man up and be honest with her.

Something along the lines of "I enjoy spending time with you, but I am at a point in my life where I owe it to myself to be single and meet new people."

If she is that needy/clingy then you probably are better off ending it quickly (who wants a level 5 clinger?)

Thanks man! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I just hate to hurt people. I hate making someone sad. But what must be done, must be done.

And now I really know how a girl feels. Clinginess is really creepy.
