Going rock climbing for a date, but not an athlete

I have edited this to make it a little better:

I'm going rock climbing with a girl, it is not technically a date but it is a one on one hangout and we aren't great friends or anything. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice? I'm not athletic and neither is she. I'm going to have to be able to spin the fact that I can't get up that hill, or can but only with alot of heart and effort, into something funny and also into something that can help me dhv, I think?

any advice?
