From Hot to Cold...

I've was dating this girl for a little over a month.. Things were going good then suddenly things changed... She went all cold. Her long playful flirty texts stopped. Phone conversations were dreadful. Slowly stopped hanging out. I finally confronted her about it, but in a non needy way. I never got a reason, just a bunch of excuses. So I don't even really know what deal was.. Last thing she said was we had an undeniable connection. After that we stopped talking.

After about 2 weeks I got a text message from her. She asked me how I was doing.. I said I was fantastic and doing great. I was polite and cut the conversation short said I had to go.. Now I get a short text message from her every couple days. Nothing flirty or sexual. Mostly just boring bullsh1t.. haha. friend zone stuff.

So here is my question...

If I was to try and start something up with her again, how would I start. Should I start texting or calling her first? Continue to play like I don't care? I've never tried to rekindle a relationship before. She must still be into me or she never would of contacted me..

Maybe she's got some some ex issues. Something she can't end and move on with probably.

You could call her out with your bunch sometimes. Maybe go watch a band or football match or something. If she contacted you, she obviously thinks of you. Just dun seem too eager.

After 4 days of not talking she finally called me.. After a short polite conversation I cut the conversation short. Told her I had company coming over. Yesterday sent me text.. This is how the text went.

Her: How are you today?
Me: Hey punk. I'm fantastic. How did your interview go? Her: It went well thanks =)
Me:There's this cute girl I used to hang around with. She was pretty fun, then things got all weird. Any suggestions on getting her to hangout again? I won't tell her you told me
Her: Hmmmm. I think she'll come around! I suggest patience. She misses hanging with you.
Me: What do you think happened that caused her to get all distant?
Her: Ummmmm... I'm sure she'll tell u sometime.
Me: Its to bad she can't be honest and talk to me about it. Pretty understanding guy.
Her: She probably will.
Me: Thanks for chat, but I have run.. ttyl
Her: Bye bye

I'm extremely annoyed. I want to walk away, but I'm so bloody curious as to whats going on with her... Any suggestions on how to play this?

Walk away and she'll come back, most likely

I think Buzzman has it. Walk away and she may come back. She ever mention to you that there may have been another guy?

No she hasn't mentioned anything. I never had any reason to believe there was another guy.. There is always that possibility.

It happened to me not too long ago with a girl over here, (Travelling around Australia has opened up my game) she was into me but then she started to get flakey. I was leaving anyway so I took the experience and learned that I needed more Push-Pull in my technique in order to keep her interest. dhv's were important to this girl as well as feeling a connection.

She also had a massive ASD. I liked how you were playful with her though trying to find out why she flaked but the less interest you show from this point on will make her want to talk to you more. Putting in false time constraints over text (like you did) let her know that you have a life.

A friend of mine was in a similar situation, the advice I gave him was to say that he'd only see her again if she was looking her best, otherwise she could forget it. Make yourself the prize.

Good point, this could also do with vaule.. if she did go with another guy put her in your friends zone and and a girl to make her jealous.. then you'll have them competing for you. (sweet). but what skills or talents do you have? make you her trophie.

I don't mean to bring up a old post, but didn't want to start a whole new tread.

It's been about a month now since I've talked to this girl. Out of nowhere she pops on FB and sends me a poke. After doing this back and forth for a few days. I decide to send her a message. Asking her what king of mayhem she's been up to. Only reply I get is "Poke"

I don't know how to reply to this or even if I should bother. Wouldn't mind hooking up with her again. Any suggestion?

Hey man, it sounds like she is just stringing you along. She definitely has some interest in you but it seems like she is just using you to feel better about herself. Knowing you still want her makes her feel more confident in other relationships.
I like what that one guy said above about tossing her in your friend zone to make her jealous. Don't invest anything in her and make her work for you more.
