Quick question

I have a question. It is almost a general question, but happened to me right now, just want to know how to behave in general in that situation.
I met a girl short time ago, and we exchanged numbers. One day she texted me, I was kinda impressed that she texted me first. So I found out she is working a lot. but I decided to give it a shot. Since I knew that she is going to certain church, I asked her to join her and she said she wanted to invite me anyway.
So I went and after this she went with me to a walk in a park. It was actually a really good day, I had a chance to escalate, and she enjoyed it as well. The problem was that next Sun I was suppose to work almost right after the church. I still went to meet her, but after this I needed to go and was raining, so she said she did not want to go anywhere anyway.
Sunday after I wanted to go to other church and I sent her a text, "Lets meet after this". She said that she is not interested.
I was OK with it and I stopped texting her. Yesterday I got a text:

"A bless evening! How are you? Have a peaceful sleep, gudnyt."

What will be the best action in that situation?

In general, looks like typical church junkie, who wants to convert a guy before she will have any sex.
But I had the same experience with others before, at some point they start chasing you, and I almost never got them back. I either push them off too hard, or if behave like nothing happened they will stop texting at all.

stop connecting your meet-ups to church. There are six other days in the week.

OK, what should I do right now? Looks like there is a game on yet, off course I can just find another girl, but this one kinda trying to hook me for something.

Find and event that YOU want to do, either by yourself or in the company of others. Do not ASK her to join you in the form of a question, but tell her she is welcome to come a long.

While you're at it, find another girl. don't be needy.

OK, you might be right. What do you think about going to the event if I am invited. I had that situation too and it led nowhere, is it like the way of loosing leadership attitude?
