need your thoughts on this date i went on

this is a date i went on lastnight, I would appreciate constructive criticism and 100% honesty so the day started with her saying thanks i will show the text convo we shall call her HB7

hb7: 2:13 pm " thanks so much for celebrating with me i hope you had a good time "

i did not respond to this text because i felt it was just a masstext for everyone who came.
hb7: 3:53 pm "working till 9"

me: ok

Hb7: " that okay"

me: yea its cool

hb7: Good. "I've been looking forward to tonight!"

Me: Yea me 2

So i show up late to the date with her texting me where im at i tell her they are doing road work on the highways gona be late

so we finaly meet up and 1st thing she does is compliment me.

hb7:" wow you look nice"

me: you to

so mainly on the ride over there and to the steak and shake we converse but it was mainly imitated by her i cant tell if this is an I.O.I or she just is a talker.

we laugh eat and go to the movies

Now here was where i felt i missed out big time. basically we where sharing an arm rest and i should of lifted the armrest and put my arm around her to build Kino but failed she would huff her breath repeatedly through the movie as if to get my attention . but i failed to do the kino

so after the movie we talk about it laugh some more i walk her to her door we hug and then when i get home i check my phone there is a text.

hb7: " Uh you smelled nice and sit but now i smell like you! Lmao ion wanna smell like a boy!"

ME: " LoL hey now smell nice now be happy "

she checks to see if i made it home safely

HB7: " thank you again i haven't been taken out in a long time so this meant allot. Night :-D

Me:" thats a shame that you haven't maybe we will do this again soon goodnight"

now i know she has a bf and allot of guys chasing her so i wonder if me not trying to show direct interest was good idk so i would like all of your thoughts on this date

I think any girl that gets chased a lot will respond to less interest rather than more. If you go chasing after her she is going to think you are easy pickings and not want to date you again.

i agree with that im confident but yet cautious because i cant clearly know what she's thinking. i want to know but i would probably need to text her but how long should i wait to text her?
