An HB8 led me on and showed interest in me, after pursuing her, but at the same time remaining a challenge, she texted me saying I make her uncomfortable - among other things -, the text was insulting to say the least. So I cut all communications with her and now her friends tell me she looks like she's having regrets.

If she asks to be friends again, would you forgive her? My concern is that if I forgive her easily, she'll not have respect for me and will probably Flake quickly.

You did the right thing there. Walking away and showing you don't need her. That's why she's having regrets right now.

Don't forgive her too easily - make her do something for you, and when she does and she asks if you guys are cool, tell her you're thinking about it or something like that so she knows not to screw around with you anymore.
