weird behavior from a girl with a boyfriend?

Hey guys,

Just curious as to what you guys make of this situation. I made a post in the "How to text a girl" a little while ago about a HB8 I had number closed on. Shortly after I started texting her, I found out she has a boyfriend.

Last weekend she came out with my friends and I to a few bars near where we live. While we were out, I observed some behavior that I found a little strange coming from a girl with a boyfriend.

For one, before we even left for the night we were texting and she says to me "Promise me I can trust you. You know I have a boyfriend...". Not sure why, but I found that a little weird that she said it out of no where. Second, while we were out we were flirtatious with each other. She didn't care if I got close to her, put my arm around her (we're talking only for about a few seconds at a time), and would even touch/grab my arm as we were talking (sometimes cheek to cheek). Lastly, at one point we were walking across the bar and she turned to grab my hand and held it as we walked.

Anyway, I'm curious to see what you guys think of this situation. Thanks for the input in advance!

Yeah, don't mess with another guy's girl, that's a chicken sh*t thing to do. There are so many women out there, why mess with a girl that can potentially bring all kinds of drama to your door step? If she is doing this to her boyfriend, do you think this is the kind of girl YOU can trust?

I agree. It says a lot about her integrity towards relationships. I'm just curious to see what others make of it...

I disagree. I've seen and dated a lot of girls who are very relationship oriented but cheat on their partners and continue to date the other guy for a long time.

The reason why she is doing this is probably because she feels a fall-out between her and her boyfriend and tries to attenuate the highly-probable break-up pain with you. And you ( or your "supposed relationship" ) are in the transition phase. Whether you like it or not, it's up to you. I would feel perfectly fine if I were you.)

The thing is that if she did this, she did it for a reason known by her and her ALONE. Maybe you'll hear about them sometime, unlike the poor unlucky bastard who happens to be on the other side of the relationship who will surely not know the truth ever.

It's not lack of integrity, it's perfectly normal. This is thinking with her feelings at it's best.

And about the "not messing with a guy's girl" I disagree with this too. I've been in both positions ( took the girl two times AND had the girl taken from me once, no relation between the situations ) Let's just put it this way : my desires are infinitely more important than the other guy's desires. Therefore, I go for what I want without second-thoughts or remorse.

If the situation arises and I happen to want to be with or just fark a girl who has a boyfriend ( keeping her for the long run is optional ), then I surely will.

This was my initial thought. I have no idea what her relationship with her current boyfriend is like. It could be on fritz for all I know. I know some girls don't like to jump ship until they have assurance that there is another suitor lined up.

Most people will say its wrong and to back off (I know because I've posted this else where and that was the response I received 95% of the time). But the fact is, I don't know this guy and I may never meet him. My wants/desires are definitely far more important than his. I think this becomes even more true when you haven't even met this person.

Then go for it! fark the other guy.

Another thought is this: lets say this girl gets to know and actually likes me. Who am I to say what she should do with her boyfriend. But would I care if she broke up with him because I came into the picture? NO. That's asking me to not be myself around a girl just because she has a boyfriend. I see no harm in it.

I'm not sitting here plotting to sabotage this girl's relationship, but who cares if she breaks up with him just because I came around. Doesn't make me the bad guy...just means she saw me as the better man in her mind.

Great ! Enough talking, go get her. Lay out a solid action plan, stick to it, then reap the rewards.

Well pullmand, I hope this works out for you. Keep this in mind...she will throw you under the bus in a heart beat if she gets busted on her end. She will make up lies to make herself seem like the innocent party in her boyfriends eyes. And the last thing you need is to have a jealous boyfriend splitting your nose in 2 because his girl doesn't know how to keep her legs closed. I've seen it 100 times.

If a girl says "Promise me I can trust you. You know I have a boyfriend...", she is obviously keeping it from her man. If things were not working out, she would have communicated that by now. Good look bro, you may need it! lol

p.s., make sure you wrap it up, there's no telling how many other guys have taken a ride. :0)
