Need to be more Alpha.

Hey guys, Dean here.
I have been seeing this girl for 3+ years, so needless to say it's pretty serious. Recently I got onto our computer and her facebook chat was going berserk (she was chatting on her phone from work) and I noticed it was a guy who's been a bit sketchy before. The dude was big time flirting and she didn't really flirt back, but she wasn't shutting him down (Almost engaging him in a way). Needless to say, this guy is half my size, wears turtle-necks and crap, and has a lisp. It's a punch in the d1ck to even consider the possibility he's appealing to her. I'm a big dude, 6'3'' and 248 pounds, muscular but have a bit of chub, and she references scrawny/skinny guys as being really muscular and stuff, so her opinion on the matter is pretty obvious. I'm basically trying to get my confidence up and start seeing things from an 'alpha' perspective, and am looking for advice on my given situation and on how to appeal to women in a more manly or -the man- stance. (I've always been the gentle giant type). I don't want her to think i'm gonna smash dudes for looking at her, but at least to recognize the fact I'm leagues above the chumps she seems to attract.

Have you considered the fact that she might make fun of him in "her" way? Leave her have her fun.

You're a 6'3'' and 248 pounds, muscular guy. That doesn't mean that I can't slap you hard for having this type of mentality. Looks are not THAT important. Women are seduced by BRAINS, not MUSCLE. Been there a few times with this mentality, got depressed deep because it happened.

Your situation isn't even near what I've been, so don't worry. General advice.

Your Mindset :

- "They fark up. They always do"

If it happens to come into discussion ( initiated by her, not you ), shrug it off and be counter-intuitive.

- "Hey, you should go out with that guy. He's cute. Oh, and bring some salad on the way home, too."
- "Hey, I can help this guy pick you up. I'll be friend him and make him say lines that you'd love to hear"

And stuff like that.

Sitfab knows way more about all of this than I do..but I was in almost exactly the same situation as you dean (although the guy was my close friend so my guard was down even more). I considered the thought of him getting my girl ridiculous because he wears braces, has acne, red hair, slightly overweight etc. BUT it did happen because I was in the frame of mind you're in. Sitfab is dead right when he says looks are not that important because I had this guy covered by a long way. I thought my looks would get me through but she enjoyed being with him more and it was my downfall. Point is, be positive, keep being spontaneous, show her a good time and carry yourself with a lot of positive energy (all things i did not do).
