get the number from the girl. message her on facebook and tell her you would like to hang out sometime. it's more personal if you asked her rather than have someone else give it. and if she mentions why didn't you use the number that her friend gave. just say i would rather have asked you personally

Deffiantly meet her in person
One summer for two months I was talking to a HB 9 (Brazilian model) everything was well and we really got to know each other but after two months it was dead awkward cause we never actually spoke properly before only over fb/msn

I did end up f closing 2 weeks later though
