Date 1 Success! But have I stuffed any chance of a second date?

Hey lads,

Had a date with an awesome chick I met through internet dating last sunday. Was intially supposed to go out for 1 drink as it was a school night and she's a teacher. But a few laughs and 1 cocktail later we both realised just how much we were on the same page, same paragraph, maybe even same word. Found out we had so much in common it was uncanny.... Then out of nowhere she said, "Did you maybe wanna grab a bite to eat I know this cool place around the corner?"

I of course said yes. Dinner went really well and the waiters at the end of the night said we were a really awesome couple and came back with 2 shots of schnapps (on the house). Ended up walking her home and kissing her out the front of her house. She said she had heaps of fun and I agreed and asked when she was free this week? Friday she had a fund raiser and Saturday a wedding, so Sunday it was. She asked me to text her when I got home, which read like this:

Me: "Home sweet home! Thanks again for tonight I had heaps of fun, hope you arent up too late prepping for class tomorrow"

A: "I had a great time too, thankyou! Night hun : )"



A few days went by and I decided to put in some ground work with a midweek text.

Me "Hey ... How are you? Had a good week with the little tikes?"

Had no reply for 2 days and I was starting to get concerned. Then I logged on to the internet dating site thursday to see if maybe she had sent an email or something when I noticed that in the members who have added you as their favorite had gone from 1 to 0. Since I had mainly been only interacting with her online and there is no indication of who has added you just a number, I assumed it was her.

I progressively began to lose my sh1t. I figured it was late enough in the week to warrant a phone call to line up Sunday and tried to maintain a positive attitude. Phone rang out. I began to lose my cool even more... A friend who was over at the time was like well "game over man, game over", which did not help at all as he knew how head over heels about this girl I was. A couple of hours rolled by and I was pretty confused so I sent 1 sms as a last ditch attempt to salvage my situation.

Me: "Hey ... not sure if you still want me to contact you but I thought we really hit it off the other night, if you are free it would be great to have a chat."

*A couple of hours past*

A: "Hey hun! Sorry been really busy today / tonight. Let's chat soon! : )"

Me: "Oh cool! How embarrassing... So I haven't bombed out?"



To which there has been no reply... Can I salvage this situation? I am clearly not going to contact her but need a reality check and some sound advice. Thanks!

Yea you can salvage, but you really can't show her your neediness. Tease her when you send her your next text

I would say wait 2 days and call her again, but make sure you know what u plan to talk about when you do
Never ask if you've bombed out, it puts her on higher ground than you and is begging her for her attention
Be interesting, cool, and not afraid to challenge her

You got a shot but only one left so do it right

Yeah I'm going to leave it for now. By contacting her this weekend it's just going to make me look more needy to meet up by today. I'm heading interstate for a wedding next weekend (which she knows about) so I am thinking I will text her when I get back. A bit of time should let this smooth over...

Any ideas of a good text to reignite the engines again?

I would have rescued this with the old

"I'm working out of town in a weeks time, Lets get a coffee before I go, I'll be gone a week or 2, I'm free Tuesday or Sunday at about 5pm, I'll let you pick the day but I'm picking the venue :P x"

This is nice and dry, non aggressive and covertly dominant, if you can pull it off and if it works you should get her, also it leads into a nice little scenario where you can be cheeky cocky and say how you don't like getting hit on out of town, because you think strange women might rob you blind and leave you handcuffed to the bed when your staying in a hotel. There's loads you can do with that scenario but you need to sexualize it ASAP! Tell her to give you a reason to miss your flight or ask what clothes you should wear to stop the air hostesses hitting on you, the biggest part of my game is just making chicks chase me. That is key!
