Dinner Date setup by a friend

Wednesday, I'm going on a dinner date or casual encounter with a girl setup by a friend that thinks we'd get along. We are already FB friends and she has similar interests. From what I've been told she's intelligent(,Major Linguistics and Anthropology, Minor in Music,) out going(she's traveled to Scotland and may be in the SCA.) I'm not having any issues with thinking of aa or Conversation, what I'm having a conundrum with is Kino. We are meeting at 6 at a local Mexican Restaurant, so guaranteed a booth or table. So without being too forward how can I make subtle Kino and keep things casual, as we'll be more than likely a tables reach away?
