The Man of Taste

Alright, here's my take on fashion, because to me fashion has helped me A LOT when it comes to game.

I went to the club last weekend and got hit on by god knows how many girls. My wingman told me that "my fedora was running game" LOL

Anyhow, here's my basis for fashion:

What grabs women's attention is actually the blending of colors as well as the accessories.

I'd rather have 2 outfits that are pretty damn solid versus a thousand ones.

Next is FIT

If you're sort of overweight, you definitely want to go with black or some dark color. One of my Tx wingmen who nails chicks on almost every party we go to is pretty overweight, but when he puts on a black or dark navy thing on it looks like he's pretty fit.

But if you're not overweight and your body is pretty ok then get a button down or polo or tee that has a nice fit cut. Remember that there's man-fit and gay-fit. Gay fit is when its uber short on all the sleeves and bottom. You don't want the sleeves to be more than 5 inches above your elbow or else you got gay-fit.

Design

As a beginner, go with the colors and find some solid ones for now. If you want to show personality then hey, rock a graphic tee every now and then. I love wearing one of my shirts that say "Sluts are People too" and everytime I'm out some chick grabs me to read it twice... it also sets the sexual tone.

Here's a trick too. When you have word tees, try putting a jacket over it or a cardigan - I know its summer, but it could be cold elsewhere. It shows you're not too overbearing or needy on showing your cool tee. It also makes women actually work to read it.

Accessories

I'm not too big on having too many, unless i want to project this rock star or indie rock star archetype. I think one ring is enough, some leather or wooden/hemp bracelets and cuffs, and a necklace. Now depending on where you're going -- if you're going to somewhere classy try silver and titanium...if its daytime or you're going somewhere casual then hey go with leather, hemp and wood.

The belt is a big thing - most of my wingmen have white belt buckles in their closets or black ones with nice buckles with fleur de lis's (sorry i don't know the spelling) or some other goth logo.

As for shoes, remember that if you're going to the club no one really cares. No one looks at them and they usually get stepped on, so just get your "daily driver" black ones out. If you're going on a date you definitely want to step up your shoe game - go get some Aldo shoes... they have a wide range depending on what your outfit is.

key is also to match you outfit to where your going. if your like me this is hard because im a bar hopper. i normally hit 2 bars and a club every time i go out. if you got to a mainly techno scene go with brighter funner outfits, if your more country dress to fit, and in the hip hop realm you can play around more. now if you jump like me then dull down the outfit but play up the accessories. and preselection items alway help the game.

Adding to accessories. A ring is nice but and interesting ring that screams attention without being over excessive is a good welcome. A wingman of mine wears a two ring that looks almost like half a brass knuckle. It compliments what he wears and most women are intrigued by it.

Definitely feeling the OP's sense of fashion. Good to know the difference between gay and man fit.

Nice threads don't mean jack if you don't have the right Mindset/confidence/posture to pull it off. Stand up straight, be calm, smile, use eye-contact, be a man, and don't be a pussy. Skinny, fat, short... it don't matter. You need the right mindset. If you are secure with yourself, almost any clothes will work, just make sure they are clean.
