Default Lost my weight - need all new clothes. Where do i start?

Hey guys. Well it's official. I have lost 55lbs since starting this whole process of self-transformation, get women, and improve-my-life-and-come-into-my-own-at-the-ripe-age-of-27-thing. I've gone from wearing a 38x30 to a 32x30 pant and wearing large shirts to wearing a small.

I need ALL new clothes. I have NO idea where to even begin! Do I go to Ross, Kohls? I know I want T-shirts and jeans for day to day around town and school. Nicer stuff like a polo and cords or dockers for around town. Button ups, a vest, a fedora, slacks for nights out on the town (which I HAVEN'T DONE YET!!! WHERE DO I GO!?) Do I want to wear t-shirts and a button up over the t-shirt? A vest? I am a baaaaby here.

I'm getting this handled slowly but surely. Where do I start?

Can I wear fl0ral beach shirts?

Just remember that it doent have to be over the top expensive. Here is my list of favorite stores and styles:

Guess
Banana Republic
Express
G

Also check out discount stores. When I dropped my weight I had to buy all kinds of new stuff with a small budget at the time. Places like Marshalls, TJ Max, Burlington Coat factory. I buy all kinds of designer stuff there for cheap.

If you are looking for a new style try this. Go to a local designer retailer, find the hottest girl working there and tell her you want her to help you find a new style. Let her pick it out, make sure it fits and buy it.

yeah you never have to pay too much. aeropostale has some really good sales with very stylish things. and you dont even need the most sylish stuff. as long as u can work it but def. hit express cause its the sh1t and american eagle has really good stuff. but even keep it simple with like v necks and nice jeans. whatever you can do

Congrats on the weight loss
For clothes see what looks good on you, if you cant figure it out find a cute sales clerk in a store and ask her for some help, good to practice some game ...Also see whats in style in the bigger name stores like American Eagle, Pacific sun, so on and so forth and try to find it at department store like Penny's, Macy's, Sears, even Gabe's... btw this is coming from a broke college student so if you have the cash and want to spring for name brand go ahead but I try to be a little thrifty in my clothes shopping... oh and pick up a pack of plain colored T-shirts from a Walmart or target they are form fitting and cheap but I have gotten compliments and asked where I got them...everybody is into the graphic tees but plain colors catch the eye because nobody wears them

Diesel makes the best jeans... and you only need 1 pair for going out.

Jeans shouldn't be a problem. You can find a decent pair anywhere. Get a decent fade with something not too tight around the ankles.

I think INC (International Concepts) has about the coolest shirts. Very vintage, double pocketed button-up, plaids, etc. Very cool stuff, can be found at Macys.

Don't jump right away to the higher end stores or the places in the malls. You'd be suprised what you can find at Macy's and at Kohl's. I got a killer jacket at Kohls that was on sale for $32 - And I've had about 10 compliments on it -- one by my 40 year old boss (awkward). Always dress in accordance to your side. Never too lose, not too tight if you're not muscular, and jeans never too short.

And Chuck Taylors are always in! Were when I was 15, still are now!

Haha, I was a 40 or 38x30 to a 34x30 myself. Went from XL to medium, but I am broad shouldered and kinda muscular. Anyway, I highly recommend the South Pole line at Sears. They have awesome shiny jeans - the black ones go with everything. A lot of their shirts are interesting too - got a light blue plaid one with shiny silver threads in it. Eighty Eight is another brand at Sears you will want to check out - for their collared shirts. I wore one to the tattoo parlor last weekend, and the girl who did my piercing loooooved it (as well as my SP jeans, and my watch - she loved my stuff). Their shirts look snazzy, and they often have one shiny button around the chest, which makes it a naturally intriguing shirt - bought two. Another place I recommend is American Eagle for collared shirts. If you are white with a pink undertone, consider one that's white with pink pinstripes.

Girls like shiny things. I know why my ex didn't like me wearing things like that now - it attracts female attention.

Now since it's getting cold outside, you'll need jackets. Kohl's actually is awesome for jackets. These types of jackets are real in right now: http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/mens/coats/wool/PRD~542167/West+End+Peacoat.jsp.

Oh and for anyone overhauling his or her wardrobe, don't go overboard with the changes. Stick to your style, only with better clothes. If you're the jeans/rock star/artist type, don't go buying dressy stuff you won't be comfy wearing.

The clothes have to be a nice fit, yes. But you cannot radiate confidence if the clothes aren't you.
